Suzanne Koven MD

Suzanne Koven is a primary care physician and the inaugural writer-in-residence at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her writing has appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Boston Globe, the Lancet, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and other publications, and has been featured on National Public Radio. Her memoir, Letter to a Young Female Physician: Notes from a Medical Life, was published by W.W. Norton & Co. on 5/4/21 and called by the Wall Street Journal a “warm and wry epistle, the endless and near-perfect email you wish your mother, your mentor and your therapist would sit down and type out together.”
